The mission of the Minerva Club Building Preservation Fund, Inc. is to preserve and restore the Minerva clubhouse and grounds, to provide public access to the landmark for educational purposes, and to carry on other charitable and educational activities associated with this goal as allowed by law.
The Minerva clubhouse was designed by Julia Morgan and built in 1928. Our clubhouse is on both the State and National Historic Registry. Julia Morgan was the first woman licensed as an architect in the State of California. In 2013, Ms. Morgan was posthumously awarded the American Institute of Architects highest honor, a Gold Medal,
56 years after her death. She is the first woman to ever be given the award.
We welcome your tax-deductible donation to raise funds for the preservation and restoration of our historic clubhouse and grounds to ensure that it will be enjoyed by present and future generations.
